Coffee Hours / Receptions
Coffee hours are an opportunity for parishioners of all ages to visit with each other after Sunday Mass to share fellowship and some great goodies. Coffee hours are held on the same Sundays as the Children’s Liturgy, and are coordinated by Lorraine Hoffman, 624-2703.
Receptions are held to celebrate special occasions, including first sacraments. Anyone interested in provided baked goods for coffee hours or reception should contact Lorraine Hoffman, 624-2703.
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is an autumn celebration of German food, drink, song and games for all ages. This celebration is shared with St. Rose of Lima parish and hosted in alternate years by each parish. 2005’s celebration will be held at St. Rose on September 17 after the 4:30 Mass and is being coordinated by Wanda Tubbs.
St. Joseph’s Table
This special coffee hour honors St. Joseph with wonderful food and a special blessing. Linens, flowers and statuary adorn the St. Joseph’s Altar, which is built from three steps that represent the Holy Trinity. This celebration takes place on the Sunday closest to March 19, St. Joseph’s Feast Day. St. Patrick’s Day Party
Lucky potatoes and a white elephant gift exchange ??? These are just some of the activities you can enjoy at the annual Saint Pat’s party at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Children can dress potatoes while the adults write limericks, indulge in an Irish buffet or take a chance on a door prize. Our own Irish band provides music for all ages to enjoy. Plan on attending this annual family event!
