Unity Council
In 1998, St Agnes in Avon, St Joseph in Livonia, St. Mary Our Lady of the Hills in Honeoye, St. Paul of the Cross in Honeoye Falls, St Rose of Lima and St. William of Conesus began working together on a diocesan wide initiative: Pastoral Planning for the New Millennium. The goal of this initiative is to ensure that parishes and faith communities throughout the diocese sustain and / or increase their vitality in the face of such challenges as declining number of priests, population shifts and other social and economic factors. We named our planning group “Unity Council”. Parish representatives: Father Gross, Deacon Albro Wilson, Gene Coates, and Lorraine Hoffman.
